Won A Saddle And Belt Buckle This Summer:)

Hey everybody,

Wow it has been like 3 months since I posted I am sooo sorry life has been in the fast lane lately!! Lots of stuff has gone on! So I'm gonna tell you guys all about it.

So to start with I  rode Maggie in a barrel racing series all this summer and her and I took first place and won a belt buckle I was so proud of her! She did amazing this year. At the last barrel race it came between another girl and I whoever won that race would be the over all winner. It was like Maggie knew she ran her heart out she did her best run ever I was so exited.

  Then I rode Jayney in a 2 day horse speed events thing and her and I won first place in my age group and we won a saddle she did so good I love my old mare she is 17 but she is very consistent and gives it her all!

 Tyree's leg is better so we are working on regaining his muscles again. I have done bareback jumping on Joey and Jayney it is so much fun I love it!! Ellie is really progressing I took her to lots of barrel races this year and to her through the exabitions and she has been coming along great!

  I also had volleyball camp this summer it was really fun! Volleyball season has started for my team we have a game Saturday. I cant wait to play!

  School has also started which has been going good! I'm taking some fun classes this year. But I still don't like Algebra HAHA.

  We got some new work out equipment and I am working on getting ripped for sports and just in general to feel good and healthy! :)

I'm Back

Its been so long since I last posted summer is such a busy time so I thought I would give you some updates.

I have been keeping up with the horses. Ellie has made some great progress at barrel races I have got her trotting through the barrels smoothly. Maggie has also been going to barrel races and doing really well this girl and I are neck and neck for first place at the barrel series we have 4 more to see who wins I am super nervous. Tyree was better then I took him to a barrel race and he reinjured himself so he is better again but we are rebuilding his muscles and strength very slowly. Jayney is going to be going to more speed shows in the weeks to come. Joey is doing great and I am thinking of taking him in some English events in the upcoming weeks.

I went to 2 concerts with girls from my basketball team it was really fun. We had a blast and got to talk to the bands after the concerts.

I had basketball camp this week and that was ok it was a very intense camp instead of a fun camp they worked us like crazy and I was sore after everyday.

We are painting our house so I get up some mornings and help do that. One time there was a bee when I was on the ladder painting and it wouldn't leave me alone so I asked my mom to hand me a rock and I tried to smash it while it was sitting on the ladder, I missed and it came at me I almost fell of the ladder but didn't get stung :)

Speed Show and Barrel Race

  Friday we had a speed run and I brought Jayney and Ellie. Ellie did poles she did really well and then when we did barrels it was dark outside so the lights kinda scared her but its good for her to get used to this stuff while we are training. Jayney did 7 different events and did really good to we got 1st and 2nds in those events.

Today we went to a barrel race I brought Maggie, Tyree, and Ellie. Ellie did so good I was so proud of her, her turns were great. Maggie did really well also she got second place. Tyree went in and the first barrel was nice and then we went to switch leads going to his second barrel and he pulled up lame again so we are having the horse shoer come on Friday and if he doesn't find anything w are gonna take him to the vet.

The ducks are getting so big they are so cute they have a pool and they love swimming. Bart has blue and purple under feathers it is so cool.

Barrel Race

  On Wednesday I went to a barrel race and took Maggie and Ellie. Ellie was a little crazy in the warm up pen she was anxious and nervous about everything which makes sense because this is only the second barrel race I have brought her to but you have to start the young ones somewhere (no matter how dumb they may make you look:). I did two exhibition runs on her the first one her mind  was all over the place the second run she did a lot better.


  Maggie did amazing we took first place in our age group I was so proud of her she is a very lovable horse she gives me her all. I got lots of complements on my run after my run which made me feel good.

I am going to a horse speed show tomorrow I am taking Jayney and Ellie. I will try to get some pictures then. I will let you guys know how it goes:)

Funny story....a little girl about 6 years old came up to me and my mom at the barrel race on Wednesday and asked if I was my moms mom it was quite funny.:)

Tyree is Much Better and Vaction

Tyree is getting much better he is almost 100﹪. There is a barrel race tomorrow but I don't want him to pull the muscle in his leg again. So I will be bringing Maggie and Ellie to the barrel race tomorrow

I have been on vacation with my Grandma, mom, sister, and brother. It was really fun we saw a waterfall it was beautiful the scenery was amazing!! We saw deer in someone's yard at dawn it was really cool I have never seen deer in a yard before.

Funny story.....so my brother deiced to take his rip stick(its like a skateboard but only has 2 wheels and you have to wiggle your hips to make it go) off a bike ramp he came flying down landed on his back side and popped right back up he was fine just in some pain. Needless to say we were all laughing so hard we were crying:)

Tyree Has a Limp

  Today I rode Maggie and ponied Jayney it was a very pleasant ride.

  After that I went to get Tyree to ride and I realized he had a really bad limp in his right front leg we are not sure what happened if he pulled a muscle or what? We checked his leg there was no heat in it. So we will see how he is doing tomorrow. We also noticed his hips are always popping he just turned 8 so this shouldn't be a problem we think this might have something to do with the limp. We may call a chiropractor to see if there is something going on. My mom thinks maybe somethings out of place but I guess we will see.

Graduation and I Actually Got A Dress

  Today I went to a very good friends gradation its so sad that she is graduated and her and I wont be playing basketball and volleyball on the team together any more :..(. She was an amazing rebounder in basketball she was normally our high scorer in the games we all will miss her very much on the team.

  I also got a new dress yesterday I love it so much because it goes great with western boots and I had a pair that matched it perfectly:) By the way dresses are so out of my comfort zone I don't remember the last time I wore one haha:)

Riding

It has been so rainy here lately and all the barrel races are getting post postponed ugh!! But my horses and I have been getting in lots of trail riding which is always fun and relaxing.

                       Ellie has gotten so pretty!! You can defiantly see the thoroughbred in her!

  I am now moved into the upstairs I love it so much tonight is my first night sleeping up there. I cant wait to sit in my rocking chair and drink coffee while enjoying the view of my horses in the morning:)

Upstairs Updates

Today I had volleyball practice that went well. Then my sister and I went shopping for our rooms upstairs because my room should pretty much be done tomorrow or Sunday other then minor things my dad will finish in a few months and my sisters room should be done sometime next week then my dad will start working on the bathroom.

 I stayed up till 1 this morning moving stuff into my new closet. My closet doors are mirrors so its super cool👍

  Today I was on Pinterest and I found some adorable animal pictures they are just sooo cute I thought I would share them with you guys.

First Barrel Race Of The Season:)

  On Sunday I went to my first barrel race of the season. I took Maggie and Tyree.

  Maggie did amazing she ran the best she ever has. We won 3rd in the adult division. I was so proud of her!!

Tyree did ok I knew getting him he is extremely fast but he has problems, he and I an twice the first time was not good the second time was better there is lots of room for improvement. I know he is very fast and capable of being an amazing barrel horse so we will just keep working on it.

                    Our next barrel race is on Wednesday so I am ready to see how that goes.

The ducks have gotten so big they love to be in the bath tub they splash and run around it is so cute:)

Vacation

Sorry its been so long since I put up a post as you guys know I was on vacation which I had lots of fun at so I will share with you guys some of the things I did.

  I got the pleasure of riding my grandmas horse Walter twice he is a 5 year old buckskin. My brother and I doubled on him he did great he was very well behave and super easy going.

The buckskin is Walter, the paint one is Skunk (he has a patch of white in his tail:), and the brown on is Sam.                                                                                                                                                      

I also got to help my 5 year old cousin do some barrel racing.

The view at sunset was beautiful!!

This is a pond on my grandparents property it is so cool there were lots of ducks and my siblings found baby turtles there as you can see in the next picture.

It was a fun trip there is lots of fun places to ride there is an indoor and outdoor arena and the land was great to ride on. My 2 year old cousin and my 5 year old cousin wanted to come home with me they kept hugging me and telling there parents bye:) The cousins that I went and visited are coming down to my house tomorrow so that will be fun to.

Going On Vacation

  Hey guys. Today I had school and basketball practice then I was packing because tomorrow we are leaving on vacation to go see my grandparents and cousins. I will be riding and all sorts of fun stuff so I will make sure to take pictures for you guys to make up for not blogging for 5 days. We may also be going to a zoo so if we do I will take pics. I am also getting highlights in my hair my aunt is doing it for free because at a salon it would cost me $100.

Riding and Upstairs Updates

 Hey everybody its been pretty busy lately so I will just fill you guys in on what I have been up to.

 Saturday I got 2 baby ducklings there names are Adrian and Avery. I also rode.

Sunday was Easter and I was in the church skit it went really well beside the fact I don't like public speaking:) After that we had lunch at the Pastors house. Then I rode. One the way to church there was so much fog it looked so cool!!

Monday I had basketball practice which went well. Then I rode horses when I got home. Tyree and I are getting along great he is always eager to please:)

Thursday I babysat a 5 year old boy he is so cute. He was telling me how he got bucked off his horse but got right back on:)

 Today my mom my sister and I went to Subway and kinda had a girls afternoon then we rode horses.

Our first barrel race is on Sunday I cant wait!!!!!

Our upstairs is coming along well we are done painting I chose a light gray in my room we are now flooring it is coming together nicely.

Good Friday

                      Good Friday two words come to my mind sad and amazing!!

  Theses two words come to my mind because it is sad that Jesus got beaten and put on the cross to save us from our sins that we commit so often!! But its amazing because he gave us eternal life in heaven with him and he loves us sooo much that he died for us.


 

So today we should take the time to tell Jesus thank you for dying on the cross and going through so much pain for us!! Thank him for loving us unconditionally!!

Here is a poem I made. It is kinda hard to see in the picture so I will type it out.

Jesus died on the cross,

So with our sins we would not be lost.

He rose on the third day,

So we may know what he says is true.

He loves us unconditionally,

Even though we sin constantly

 He died so we can go to Heaven,

You just need to except him even if your already 77!

Riding

  After school today I rode my horses I rode Maggie and ponied Jayney they did great as usual lol there just my fun little trail mares:) I practiced the barrels on Maggie she did really well!!

  Then I rode Tyree Down the trail and practiced the barrels on him this is the 3rd time we have practiced barrels together and he did so good I was so proud. I cant wait to take him to a barrel race!! Our first barrel race is on the 23rd.

  Then I rode Ellie she did so well I taught her the barrel pattern last year and she remembered so much she is just the kind of horse you can tell wants to learn and please and I really enjoy training horses like that!!

Busy Week and Bucking Horse:)

  I have been pretty busy lately so I just thought I would share what I have been up to.


  Monday I had basketball practice then I rode hoses.


  Tuesday I went and did my drivers test to get my license and I passed and got my license I am so happy about that:)

  Wednesday I painted my new room gray the upstairs is really coming along I cant wait to move up there and share pictures with you guys:) After that my sister and I went shopping it was super weird not having an adult with me when I was driving but all went well.

  Thursday I rode my horses Tyree was feeling kinda frisky but he settled down fast and it ended up being a nice ride.

 Friday was my brothers birthday we went fishing with him and to Walmart were he bought a new fishing pool and then we went out to eat with him. Its so funny how when your pretty young and you just love your birthday and then you get a little older and you realize birthdays aren't that great it just means you are getting old haha:)

Saturday day we bought hay bales and moved them into the barn so we were all tired so me and my brother picked up subway for lunch then after that I rode my horses and they all did good.

  Sunday we went to church and we were practicing our skit for Easter I am reading Bible verses before each scene in the skit so that will be interesting since I don't like public speaking haha. When we got home we rode horses I got on our two young horses for the first time this year we have been lunging them lately Ellie did really well then I rode Bo and he was bucking the first time he just kicked his feet out the second time he was bucking hard and I had to get ahold of his head to make him quit so it could be interesting for the next few days with him:) After that I went out to eat with a friend and we had a really nice time.

Tyree got a new saddle pad since he is so round backed it helps keep the saddle in place.

Fitting in a Ride After Painting

  After school today I had to paint the ceilings upstairs so I had time to ride one horse after that so my mom and I rode Maggie and Quinn on the trail it was very relaxing and fun those two are great trail buddies:) The clouds were so cool looking today as you can see in the background of these pictures.

Weekend

 This weekend I had one of my good friends stay the night we had lots of fun together. We watched the show "When Calls The Heart" its a very cute romance show:) Then we jumped on the trampoline and did tricks.

  Today after church I helped my dad work upstairs we primed today so we will be painting this weekend then we just need to floor I cant wait till its done:) My sister and I did trick competitions on the trampoline we did front flips and landed them and front handsprings and we made up a bunch of other stuff. Then I practice some basketball with all the playing outside and working I am sooo tired tonight but its a good tired if you know what I mean like you accomplished something and still had fun:)

  Its been soo muddy out lately I have been wanting to ride but there just not really a place so I hope it all dries up so I can get back to riding:)

I Went and Watched the New "Beauty and the Beast" Movie:)

  Yesterday we had basketball fun practice and I practiced with the boys it was lots of fun. They can jump so high so its really hard to get a shot off with out being stuffed:) After practice I went out to eat with my dad we got steaks they were really good!!


  Today I had school after school my family and I went and watched the new "Beauty and the Beast" movie in 3D it was super good I really enjoyed it. It so cool in 3D its like you could grab the stuff that's how close some of the things look!!

  Tomorrow I will be riding its time to get horses I shape because barrel racing starts in April.

Picking Room Colors

  Today I got to pick out colors for my new room I picked lime green and gray. The upstairs project is really coming along we are almost done texturizing and then we just have to paint and floor. I haven't decided on a color for the bathroom yet I have been thinking about orange, corral, or yellow but I don't know yet :)

  I went to the dollar store today and I got a bunch of cool things to organize my desk with it really turned out cool when it was all organized it makes blogging all the more fun when its all organized and colorful I spent under $15 and got some really cool stuff!

  The cats were so cute today they always have a cute way of sleeping it seems like and they get into small spaces yet look quite content and comfortable:)

Today's Fun

 Today we had thunderstorms so I didn't get to ride, but I went shopping with my mom and siblings. There was this store closing in our mall and everything was 90% off so I got a whole bag of really cool stuff for $6 dollars I saved like $50. When we got home my mom made homemade ravioli it was really good!! Then I made sugar cookies:)

Joey is such a sweetheart he is always the first one to come up to me and nuzzle his head on me:)

Needing Prayer

  Today I found out some awful news that my aunt who was pregnant went to a doctors appointment today and they couldn't find the babies heart beat so she had to do a ultra sound to make sure they weren't missing anything sadly the baby died. I'm pretty close to my aunt and she has young kids so I'm not sure how they will take it. If you guys could keep us in your prayers I would really appreciate it!!

  You know sometimes we don't know why this stuff happens and maybe we wont know till we get to heaven and ask God. But I do know God knows exactly what he is doing and he does everything for the good of those who love him and so even tho we may not understand why he took there baby home so soon I do know the baby  is in a better place!!

Riding and I Got a Burn On My Foot

Today I had basketball fun practice just to work on the fundamentals of the sport. After practice I came home and rode Maggie and Tyree. I rode Maggie down the trail and then practiced the barrel pattern on her she did great. I just took Tyree out on the trail. Man, is he gonna be fast he wanted to go as fast as possible and I had to keep pulling him up so he wouldn't trip in the cracks I am soooo excited to take him barrel racing so I can see just how fast he is!!

  I also got a second degree burn on my foot. I was cooking and hot oil got dripped on my foot the skin came off immediately and it was super painful!!

Riding

  I have gotten back into the routine of riding all my horses everyday now that basketball is over. Its been really fun.

  Tyree and I have been getting along great!! He is such a great horse he is very loving and loves to please. I have been doing the barrel on him and he has got lots of speed I can tell he just feels like a very powerful horse when you ride him:)

Ellie my 5 year old I have been lunging her lately to get the bucking and stuff out of her system. she has been bucking quite high:) so I think I will lung her a few more days before getting on her.

Joey and Tyree have been great trail buddies:)

Maggie is my 13 year old she has been doing good as always she is very energetic and loves to run!!

Jayney my 16 year old has been great as usual to. She is a very loving and fun horse:)

Joey has been pretty good lately he can be kinda naughty at time but over all he is a sweetheart!!

I made some homemade donuts they are super easy and so good!!
