I Went and Watched the New "Beauty and the Beast" Movie:)

  Yesterday we had basketball fun practice and I practiced with the boys it was lots of fun. They can jump so high so its really hard to get a shot off with out being stuffed:) After practice I went out to eat with my dad we got steaks they were really good!!


  Today I had school after school my family and I went and watched the new "Beauty and the Beast" movie in 3D it was super good I really enjoyed it. It so cool in 3D its like you could grab the stuff that's how close some of the things look!!

  Tomorrow I will be riding its time to get horses I shape because barrel racing starts in April.

Picking Room Colors

  Today I got to pick out colors for my new room I picked lime green and gray. The upstairs project is really coming along we are almost done texturizing and then we just have to paint and floor. I haven't decided on a color for the bathroom yet I have been thinking about orange, corral, or yellow but I don't know yet :)

  I went to the dollar store today and I got a bunch of cool things to organize my desk with it really turned out cool when it was all organized it makes blogging all the more fun when its all organized and colorful I spent under $15 and got some really cool stuff!

  The cats were so cute today they always have a cute way of sleeping it seems like and they get into small spaces yet look quite content and comfortable:)

Today's Fun

 Today we had thunderstorms so I didn't get to ride, but I went shopping with my mom and siblings. There was this store closing in our mall and everything was 90% off so I got a whole bag of really cool stuff for $6 dollars I saved like $50. When we got home my mom made homemade ravioli it was really good!! Then I made sugar cookies:)

Joey is such a sweetheart he is always the first one to come up to me and nuzzle his head on me:)

Needing Prayer

  Today I found out some awful news that my aunt who was pregnant went to a doctors appointment today and they couldn't find the babies heart beat so she had to do a ultra sound to make sure they weren't missing anything sadly the baby died. I'm pretty close to my aunt and she has young kids so I'm not sure how they will take it. If you guys could keep us in your prayers I would really appreciate it!!

  You know sometimes we don't know why this stuff happens and maybe we wont know till we get to heaven and ask God. But I do know God knows exactly what he is doing and he does everything for the good of those who love him and so even tho we may not understand why he took there baby home so soon I do know the baby  is in a better place!!

Riding and I Got a Burn On My Foot

Today I had basketball fun practice just to work on the fundamentals of the sport. After practice I came home and rode Maggie and Tyree. I rode Maggie down the trail and then practiced the barrel pattern on her she did great. I just took Tyree out on the trail. Man, is he gonna be fast he wanted to go as fast as possible and I had to keep pulling him up so he wouldn't trip in the cracks I am soooo excited to take him barrel racing so I can see just how fast he is!!

  I also got a second degree burn on my foot. I was cooking and hot oil got dripped on my foot the skin came off immediately and it was super painful!!

Riding

  I have gotten back into the routine of riding all my horses everyday now that basketball is over. Its been really fun.

  Tyree and I have been getting along great!! He is such a great horse he is very loving and loves to please. I have been doing the barrel on him and he has got lots of speed I can tell he just feels like a very powerful horse when you ride him:)

Ellie my 5 year old I have been lunging her lately to get the bucking and stuff out of her system. she has been bucking quite high:) so I think I will lung her a few more days before getting on her.

Joey and Tyree have been great trail buddies:)

Maggie is my 13 year old she has been doing good as always she is very energetic and loves to run!!

Jayney my 16 year old has been great as usual to. She is a very loving and fun horse:)

Joey has been pretty good lately he can be kinda naughty at time but over all he is a sweetheart!!

I made some homemade donuts they are super easy and so good!!

     Some might say I'm lucky I mean I have 8 horses, a home, a family, etc. but, I say I'm blessed only by the grace of God do I have such wonderful things!! God has blessed me so much through out my life that's why I am giving him the glory for the things people might say we are lucky to have.

  In a song by Lacrae he says "I don't believe in luck, I believe in grace". There is no such thing as a lucky person, but God does give grace so when we think we are lucky is God showing grace!

Rainbows are a symbol of Gods grace no matter how much we sin, no matter how bad earth gets he will never flood the whole earth again. This is Gods promise to us, this is grace because we as humans can do some really bad things but God loves us.

Fishtail Braids On Your Horse

  I had gotten a comment on the fishtail braid on my last blog, and Dom has asked me to show you how to do it so here it is! I did a video and also step by step pictures on how to do it. I hope it makes sense. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Also this is a fun and cute hairstyle for people if you would like me to do a video of it on my sister I can:)

First you want to grab a section of hair and make sure its brushed out:)

Divide the section into 2 equal parts.

You want to take a small section from the outside of the right piece

.

Add that small section from the right to the left side.

Then take a small section from the outside of the left piece.

Add the small section from the left into the right.

Keep repeating these steps, it will start to look like this, go down as far as you want.

This is what it will look like in the end:)

Horse Hairstyles:)

I was playing with Tyree's hair while he was eating and I thought I would share some of the things I did with it I normally do my horses hair before a barrel races these are some of the few ways I do it.

This one I did a French twist down his mane with a fish tale braid.

This one I did a fish tail braid if I was doing it for a barrel race I would have done them all the way down his mane not just the one:)

This one I did a French braid on him.

These hairstyles where fun and easy hope you guys liked them and maybe they inspired you to do your horses hair.

Riding Tyree

I rode Tyree yesterday. He did well. Its kind of strange tho with him, most of the horses I have rode work out of the back end, he works out of his front end. So it feels super different, but I started to get used to it. He works super good off of my legs. I rode him around the arena we did some circles and flying changes that he did well on. It was super windy so his mane and my hair were going crazy haha:)

Nationals

  Nationals...........................well I was pretty disappointed we didn't win we lost by 2 points to a not so nice team who stalled the ball for almost the whole game. But lets start from the beginning because it wasn't all bad!

  Thursday we headed down and we stopped for lunch at Wendy's. Then we stopped at a gas station and I bought a book to read on the rest of the way down. When we got to the hotel we were the first ones there so my siblings and I played two hand touch football which was fun. Then my sister and I played arcade games, after that people started showing up and we played ping pong together. After ping pong we ate dinner and went to bed. I was sooooooo nervous it took me hours to fall asleep.

  Friday morning the boys played at 9 am so I went to that since I help coach the boys the poor guys lost. After there game we went to an activity type thing they were putting on for the teams. Some of my teammates did shooting contest and then there was a devotional. After that we went to the hotel and took a nap since our game was late. After our nap we had dinner and headed to the game which started at 9. We won our game by 20 or so points. Then we went to the hotel and went to bed.

  Saturday the boys played at 8;15 I didn't get to go to that since I had to sleep in since our game was late. After breakfast we headed to our game which was at 10;15 we won this game by only three points it was a tough game!!! Wining this game put us in the championship game.

  The championship game started at 3;30 so when we got to the gym the nerves were so high, all we wanted to do was win. We got in the game and we were 7 points behind with 2 and a half minutes left in the quarter they stalled the ball out that entire time my team and I were getting annoyed but our couches said let them stall it out because we were really tired so we would just go full out second half. We get into the second half and they stall every time they get the ball not to mention they have been cussing us out the whole game and there crowd is booing our team.  We played as hard as we could I ended up fouling out with 3 minutes to go in the 4th quarter, so they put our 8th grade sub in for me to run my position as point guard. We ended up losing by 2 points it was tough to lose!!

  But all I can say in the end is my team played with there full hearts and we played hard I am proud of each and everyone of my teammates and I can't tell you how proud I am of the 8th grader who filled my shoes when I fouled out, she showed the other team tho she may be small she can play just as hard and just as well as any high schooler.  I am also so thankful to God for keeping us injury free.

  I thank God for letting us have that season together and I cant wait to get out there next season give it my all and glorify God!!!
